Not only is Hardanger a picture perfect region with fjords, glaciers and steep mountains, it’s also a region booming with food. In recent years, more and more apple farmers are producing their own cider and apple juice, with high international quality. In many ways, Hardanger is Norway’s Champagne. To navigate the selection of products and producers can be tricky. Luckily, Taste Hardanger is here to save the day. On the website you’ll find a presentation of the local producers, and information about upcoming events and cider tours in the area.
Designing the identity, we wanted to give a nod to the traditions and history of apple farming, combined with a modern look. The color palette is inspired by apple blossoms and the clear water of the fjords. Hopefully, the fruitiness of the design is almost as delicious as the cider.
